FIRST FULL DAY OF CLASSES FOR ALL SCHOOLS IN DISTRICT #1 WILL BE MONDAY, AUGUST 28, 2017.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2017-2018

ECKHART ELEMENTARY

Registration for our kindergarten students will be Friday, August 18 from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Parents and students are to enter through the gym doors.  Students will register according to their last names as follows:

Last names beginning with A-G 8:00 am to 9:15 am
Last names beginning with H-Q 9:15 am to 10:30 am
Last names beginning with R-Z 10:30 am to 11:45 am

Registration for our first grade students will be Friday, August 18, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Parents and students are to enter through the gym doors.  Students will register according to their last names as follows:

Last names beginning with A-G 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Last names beginning with H-Q 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Last names beginning with R-Z 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

The building will close from 11:45 – 1:00.

FISHER’S PEAK ELEMENTARY

Registration for Fisher’s Peak will be held at the school on Friday, August 18th at the following times:

2nd Grade 8:30 am to 10:00 am
3rd Grade 10:00 am to 11:30 am
4th Grade 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
5th Grade 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

TRINIDAD MIDDLE SCHOOL

Trinidad Middle School will hold registration for the 2017-2018 School Year on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 during the following times specified per grade level:

6th Grade 8:00 am to 10:30 am
7th Grade 10:30 am to 11:30 am
8th Grade 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Trinidad High School

Trinidad High School will hold registration on Wednesday, August 16, 2017   

8:00 am to 10:00 am Last names beginning with A-G
10:00 am to 11:30 am Last names beginning with H-M
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Last names beginning with N-S
2:00 pm to 3:30 pm Last names beginning with T-Z

SPECIAL EDUCATION

Special Education services are available to students in Trinidad School District #1 who qualify based on state and federal established guidelines. The district continues to provide appropriate programs and services for all school-aged students with special needs in order for them to develop their learning potential.

 

BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PROGRAM

Trinidad School District #1 offers free lunch and breakfast for all students, grades K-12 for the 2017-2018 school year.  You can view menus here.

This is possible through the expansion of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program.

  

TRANSPORTATION

All K-5th grade students eligible for transportation will be assigned a bus number and a bus stop during the pre-registration process.  Transportation will not be provided for middle school and high school students with the exception of the following bus stops:  Village East, Starkville, Cokedale, Exit 13, Exit 18 and North Garcia. All Trinidad Middle School and High School students in the Allendale area will be picked up and dropped off at Fisher’s Peak Elementary. Students should be at their designated bus stop five (5) minutes before the bus arrives.

In the interest of safety, all students should understand and parents are urged to impress upon their children the necessity for strict compliance of bus rules.

Kindergarten students are to be picked up at the Bus Door by an Authorized Parent or Guardian. Video cameras are used on buses.

ATHLETICS

All Athletes must have their physicals, proof of insurance and any paperwork needed by the coaches completed before they may participate in practice.

TRINIDAD MIDDLE SCHOOL

Fall Sports meeting for 7th and 8th grade parents and students will be on August 14, 2017 at 6:00p.m. in the Trinidad Middle School Cafeteria.

TRINIDAD HIGH SCHOOL

All Sports meeting will be on August 8th at 6:00p.m. in the High School Gym.
