On Friday, December 6, 2024 Trinidad Middle School/High School Principal Deana Pachelli was awarded the prestigious Demont Award for Outstanding Rural School Administrator. The Demont Award was established to recognize those administrators who will “leave it better than they found it” in districts of 1,500 or fewer students. Deana Pachelli was among many deserving administrators and had to undergo a competitive interview process. Deana Pachelli was presented the distinguished Demont Award on December 6^that the Rural Alliance breakfast during the Colorado Association of School Boards conference.
